Join us at
Old Woman Creek (2514 Cleveland Rd. East, in Huron) on
Thursday, July 24 from 6-8pm for a behind the scenes tour of the visitor center and research facility. Our host, Frank Lopez, will talk about water quality issues impacting Lake Erie and how the land surrounding the lake plays into the issues, and will also discuss how they have installed some resources that are designed to help keep water on the property and reuse it. He will also lead a hike around the reserve and point out some interesting features and how they fulfill their mission as a state nature preserve.
NCYP will provide refreshments & snacks free of charge to paid members. There is a fee of $5 per person for non-paid members. If you are not currently a paid member and would like join, you can do so at the event or on our website: https://northcoastyp.com/join/
